Boks & Baum

The Haute Couture jewelry company Boks&Baum was founded in May 2014, in Mexico City, by Sylvie Boksenbaum, in association with Jihane Jomni, Production Manager, and Bulle Decastille, General Manager.

From then on, all jewelry is created and manufactured in the workshop in Mexico.

Since 2014, they have worked to create a synergy between the original technique invented by Sylvie and the manual know-how of the workers in embroidery, crochet and sewing. They recruit and train women from neighborhoods affected by social divide and territorial segregation. In this context, training in highly specialized work and access to quality employment are all levers to get out of informality, in a logic of empowerment.
